Nate Baker is one of the most intelligent soccer players we have ever seen play the game. His ability to read the flow of play, coupled with an understanding of space and the ability of the players around him allows Baker to control the flow of play through the middle of the pitch and diffuse the opposing team’s attack. A fierce competitor, Nate refuses to lose possession of the ball, and his attitude and passing ability make the players around him better. He is a tremendous, though often unheralded asset, who leaves his mark on every game.
