Philip Aseweh has the rare blend of size, speed, and technical ability that can light up a stadium and the humble, team-first attitude that every coach wants in the locker room. He utilized a lightning quick first step and attacking mentality to lead Liberty University to the 2011 NCAA Men’s Soccer Tournament, serving as both goal scorer and provider for the Flames. His ability on the field earned him numerous honors and accolades; however, he is equally proud of his accomplishments in the classroom, earning a place on the Capital One Academic All-American team.
Philip is a tremendous player, with huge potential at the professional level. This success shows from his honors and awards: All Conference 1st team multiple times, All Region 1st Team, and the NSCAA National Player of the Week. Even more important, Philip has the work ethic to succeed in any role or task placed before him.
